MetroGold is tested on several software configurations BUT NOT ALL. In general it wil work with Metroguide Europe and Metroguide North America. Besides that you will need a GARMIN GPS with autorouting capabilities (i.e. Etrex C-serie, GpsMap etc.)!

 

It is tested and works on Mapsource Version 6.12.x, 6.13.x and 6.14.x in combination with the following Metroguide versions:

  • Metroguide Europe v9
  • Metroguide Europe v8
  • Metroguide Europe v7
  • Metroguide North America v8
  • Metroguide North America v7
  • Metroguide USA v5

 

Following versions of Metroguide will most probably work (please let us know your experiences in the forum):

  • Other versions of Metroguide Europe and North America

 

Following version of Metroguide will NOT work:

  • Metroguide Australia any version
  • Any other version of Metroguide

"I just got my Nuvi a couple of days ago, used Metrowizz and made up 476 megs of Europe maps. Thats way more than I will need for my vacation. I copied the file as suggested into the Garmin directory on the Nuvi...works great. Thanks for Metrowizz and your help in getting it up and running. I changed my location to places I will be staying in Europe and it routes to my destination with street names and turns called out. Garmin makes great products, you make them work better. Thank you!"
