MetroGuide and the new Oregon 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,
Until now, I use successfull MetroGuide Europe v9 with my eTrex Legend.
But I plan to replace this "old" eTrex with a new one Garmin Oregon 200 or 300.
Normally, the Oregon serie works with City Navigator but I do not plan to buy this map.
Can I expect to upload (and use!) MetroGuide within the Oregon, without routing capabilities?
Or WITH routing capabilities, using MetroGold?
Have somebody already tryed this configuration?
Thanks for your help !

"I just got my Nuvi a couple of days ago, used Metrowizz and made up 476 megs of Europe maps. Thats way more than I will need for my vacation. I copied the file as suggested into the Garmin directory on the Nuvi...works great. Thanks for Metrowizz and your help in getting it up and running. I changed my location to places I will be staying in Europe and it routes to my destination with street names and turns called out. Garmin makes great products, you make them work better. Thank you!"

"Outstanding Product - worth its weight in Gold! This is just a terrific addition that makes the Garmin Etrex a great little GPS instead of just an ok device. For $6 (US) it cannot be beat. I certainly hope they continue to create products that support the Garmin GPS portfolio. Well done guys!"
