I just installed Metro Gold, it recognized MetroGuide but did not recognize Topo2008. Is there some way for me to get it to upgrade Topo?

Sorry, no there is not. Only Metroguide (US and Europe) are supported by MetroGold. This is because Topo maps lack the routing information, which is included in Metroguide.

"I just got my Nuvi a couple of days ago, used Metrowizz and made up 476 megs of Europe maps. Thats way more than I will need for my vacation. I copied the file as suggested into the Garmin directory on the Nuvi...works great. Thanks for Metrowizz and your help in getting it up and running. I changed my location to places I will be staying in Europe and it routes to my destination with street names and turns called out. Garmin makes great products, you make them work better. Thank you!"
