sendmap can't connect 10 Months ago Karma: 0
I am having an odd problem where sendmap 2.0 can't find the GPS through the USB port (it tries the USB and 9 com ports and all fail). I've used metrowizzz before with no problems. I can also transfer map data directly from mapsource to the GPS (nuvi 205). And suggestions as to what might be wrong?

Thanks
avram

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. It worked well with my previous Etrex Vista CX GPS. I have now an Oregon 300. What is yours ?

Did you find any solution ?

Vincent

"I just got my Nuvi a couple of days ago, used Metrowizz and made up 476 megs of Europe maps. Thats way more than I will need for my vacation. I copied the file as suggested into the Garmin directory on the Nuvi...works great. Thanks for Metrowizz and your help in getting it up and running. I changed my location to places I will be staying in Europe and it routes to my destination with street names and turns called out. Garmin makes great products, you make them work better. Thank you!"

"Outstanding Product - worth its weight in Gold! This is just a terrific addition that makes the Garmin Etrex a great little GPS instead of just an ok device. For $6 (US) it cannot be beat. I certainly hope they continue to create products that support the Garmin GPS portfolio. Well done guys!"
